was given the “Hans Koller Price- New York Scolarship” in 2011, BMUKK Startstipendium 2014, Bremen Jazzpreis 2014 (with Kompost3), Bawag P.S.K. Next Generation Award 2014, Klangforum Wien premiered Koenig’s  composition “Stereogram1” at Konzerthaus Vienna in 2018
